The Bermuda-headquartered provider of investment and retirement services has added to its team in London.

Fidelity International has hired Bill McQuaker from Henderson Global Investors as portfolio manager within its multi-asset team, Fidelity Solutions, in the UK.

McQuaker, who has over 30 years of investment experience, was previously co-head of multi-asset at Henderson Global Investors, managing the team’s flagship strategies and building a franchise for their business in the UK retail market.

“Bill is an extremely experienced multi asset investor and his rigorous and disciplined investment approach is a perfect fit for our existing Fidelity Solutions team,” said James Bateman, head of portfolio management, Fidelity Solutions.

Fidelity’s 26-strong multi asset team manages nearly £30 billion ($42.6 billion) of assets. The firm, which serves clients including wealth managers, financial institutions and private individuals, invests £185.1 billion globally on behalf of clients in 25 countries.
