FGA Trust Expands Asian Reach, Opens Tokyo Office

FGA Trust is licensed in Hong Kong; its new office is being opened at a time when Japanese financial assets have been rising, now standing at around $15 trillion, the firm said.
FGA Trust, a trust
and corporate services provider licensed in Hong Kong, has
established a representative office in Tokyo.
The office, which will be led by Mone Ota, will provide a
local, Japanese-language point of contact for high net worth
individuals, families, business owners and professional
advisors.
The new operation will focus on client liaison, preliminary needs
assessment and coordination with FGA Trust's Hong Kong team and,
where appropriate, independent legal, tax and other professional
advisors, the firm said in a statement.
All trust and corporate services are provided by FGA Trust's Hong
Kong licensed entity, subject to applicable laws, regulations,
client onboarding, know-your-client and anti-money-laundering
requirements.
FGA Trust is licensed under Hong Kong's Trust or Company Service
Provider regime.
The business cited Flow of Funds Accounts data from the Bank of
Japan as reasons for the move. The data, released on 25 June,
showed that household financial assets in Japan stood at ¥2,386
trillion (about $15 trillion) at the end of March 2026, an
increase of 7.1 per cent from a year earlier.
