Garrison Financial Advisors, a US-based family office, and Garner Asset Management, an investment adviser specializing in fixed-income and equity portfolio management, have agreed to merge. Garrison Financial Advisors, based in Arkansas, is the family office of the Garrison family, which made their money setting up American Freightways, a major transport company. It is managed by Tom Garrison, the son of F. S. “Sheridan” Garrison, the founder of American Freightways. Garner Assets reported it manages 102 accounts worth more than $185 million. Garrison Financial has not disclosed the amount of money it managers.
