Fairstone Launches Online Academy For Advisors

The UK chartered financial planning firm, which has offices in London, Bristol and Newcastle upon Tyne, has set up the Fairstone Academy.

UK-based Fairstone Financial Management has launched an online learning platform to support the professional development of its financial advisors.

The launch comes shortly after Fairstone was awarded corporate chartered status, making the Fairstone Group one of the largest chartered financial planning firms in the UK, with revenues approaching £30 million ($46 million).

Fairstone teamed up with online learning provider Redmill IQ to develop the training programme, which will help the firm’s advisors attain chartered advisor status and further ahead, fellowship.

“The continued professional development of our advisors is incredibly important to us, and the academy will arm them with the tools they need to ensure that we can offer a truly superior service to all our clients, nationwide,” said the chief executive of Fairstone Group, Lee Hartley.

“The Fairstone Academy will be the foundation for our business as we look ahead to a future where a large proportion of advisors attain chartered status. This commitment to standards is one of the factors that distinguish Fairstone in a busy and competitive market.”

Advisors will be able to access the academy programme round-the-clock from their PC, smartphone or tablet. They will be able to download e-books, undertake video tuition, quizzes and timed exams as well as take part in classroom training with technical specialists.
