Fairstone Financial Management Expands Advisory Team

The London-based financial management firm has named three experienced advisors to its team.

Fairstone Financial Management, part of the UK's Fairstone Group, has appointed Neil Sims, Jacqueline Robinson and Paul Ellis as independent financial advisors.

The new additions bring the total number of advisors at Fairstone Financial Management (City) to 30. The firm recently moved offices in London to accommodate the growth of its team.

“I think we have clearly demonstrated that our London operation provides a fantastic environment for high performing advisors like Neil, Jacqueline and Paul. The revenues delivered from this office now easily exceed £5 million ($7.8 million) per annum and show no signs of slowing down,” said Lee Hartley, chief executive of Fairstone Group.

Sims, a chartered financial planner, joins Fairstone after 12 years as an advisor with Hays Macintyre and Helm Godfrey.

Robinson, also a chartered financial planner, will offer clients independent investment advice in areas including pensions, trusts and long term care as well as protection. She has 15 years’ experience as an IFA, bank trader and stockbroker.

Ellis, who most recently served as director for Skilton Wealth Management, will assume responsibility for retirement planning, investments, mortgages and protection. He brings 10 years of industry experience.

Last month, Fairstone Financial Management and Fairstone Financial Management (City) received corporate chartered status, making Fairstone Group one of the largest chartered financial planning firms in the UK.

Fairstone has £5 billion of funds under advice, with £2 billion of funds under management.
