Fairbairn Private Bank, a member of South Africa's Old Mutual Group, has bolstered its Jersey private banking team with the addition of Andrew Robins and Alex Jeffries.

Robins was latterly an investment consultant to trustees and private clients at RBC Investment Solutions, where he had been working for the last ten years. He spent seven years as a private banker for high net worth clients at the institution. He has also worked at Barclays. In his new role Robins will focus on private client business development.

Jeffries also joins from RBC, where he worked as a wealth manager assistant supporting a team of investment consultants in relationship management.  In his new position, he will be responsible for his own portfolio of private clients.

In September last year the bank expanded its London-based private banking team with Colin Campbell and Carlo Lourenco.

Fairbairn has offices in the Isle of Man, Jersey and London, as well as a representative office in South Africa.
