F&C Investments Appoints New Distribution Head

F&C Investments has appointed Georg Kyd-Rebenburg as head of European wholesale distribution.

F&C Investments has appointed Georg Kyd-Rebenburg as head of European wholesale distribution.

Based in the Munich office his responsibilities include increasing F&C’s coverage across Continental Europe whilst working closely with the current wholesale specialists, based in Frankfurt and Zurich. He reports into Mandy Mannix, head of client service and distribution.

Kyd-Rebenburg was previously at AllianceBernstein, where he had worked since 1996, latterly as country head for Germany and Austria. Prior to this he was European sales manager at AllianceBernstein responsible for retail and wholesale distribution in Italy, Switzerland, Spain, France, Scandinavia, Germany and Austria.

"Georg has an impressive track record and solid understanding of the Continental European wholesale marketplace. He is very well placed to help drive our wholesale distribution strategy in the region and has joined at an exciting time in F&C’s development, with the recent acquisition by BMO providing the business with a unique opportunity to accelerate our growth plan," said Mandy Mannix, head of client service and distribution at F&C Investments.

"We have invested in a number of significant hires within our client management and distribution team in the last year, with a view to growing the business on a global scale as part of BMO Global Asset Management. With Georg’s direction, and with more hires planned for our wholesale distribution team in Europe, the business will be in an even stronger position to cater to the investment needs of our clients and prospects," she added.

F&C is part of BMO Global Asset Management.
