EXCLUSIVE: UBS Exec Jumps Ship To Head Coutts SE Asia Team

An executive director at UBS' Singapore wealth management business has resigned to take up a role as head of South East Asia, at Coutts.

An executive director at UBS' Singapore wealth management business has resigned to take up a role as head of southeast Asia at Coutts, WealthBriefingAsia can exclusively reveal.

Jacqueline Chua, who had been at UBS since October 2004, will leave the Swiss bank on 26 November. She is currently executive director and desk head of the high net worth team in Singapore. She will join Royal Bank of Scotland-owned Coutts in December, said a source.

Chua will report to Ranjit Khanna, who is head of South Asia and global non-resident Indian business. She replaces Manfred Liechti, who left the UK bank in April.

She will continue to be based in Singapore.

Coutts and UBS declined to comment.
