EXCLUSIVE: Multrees Strikes Positive Note Amid Change At The Top

There's a new CEO at the helm at the UK-based business and the firm spoke to this news service about developments.
Multrees Investor Services, a custody, investment administration and platform services group, has issued a positive message on its prospects as an interim CEO, Helen O'Neill (main picture), takes the helm. O'Neill was made deputy CEO only a month ago. He latest elevation to the CEO slot happened after Chris Fisher took a temporary leave of absence, as confirmed by the organisation to this news service.
Helen O'Neill
Fisher resigned as a director of the business on 14
August as WealthBriefing was able to confirm by
examining Companies House filings.
WB asked UK-based Multrees, which serves wealth
managers, private banks and family offices, about
developments.
The business, which marked its 15th anniversary last
year, didn’t elaborate on reasons for Fisher’s decision to
stand down when asked about the matter.
However, in a statement emailed to this news service, Carole Lamond, chief culture and communications officer, said “Multrees is entering a new chapter under Helen’s leadership, and we are excited about the future of the business."
“Helen brings an exceptional track record of helping financial
services firms scale while strengthening their operations and
client proposition, and she takes the helm at a time when
Multrees has invested in its technology, data, and people. With
strong demand from ambitious wealth managers for specialist,
scalable infrastructure, we believe Multrees has a clear role to
play in the next phase of the sector’s development.”
Multrees, which has won industry awards from
WealthBriefing, serves clients such as Brompton Asset
Management and Lincoln Private Investment Office, both in the
UK.
According to Companies House, active directors are David Nichol,
who is chairman, while Magnus Carlsson and Elaine Clements
are non-executive directors.
In November last year, Multrees named Martyn Johnson as chief
operating officer. The business reported a £1.9 million ($2.59
million) profit in 2025, its published accounts said, falling
from £3.47 million a year earlier.
