Ex-WaMu reps join LPL affiliate Benchmark in SoCal

Poitras, Goel, Andrew plug into LPL through Benchmark Wealth Management. Brokers Mark Poitras, Vik Goel and Dan Andrew have decided to plug in to the independent-channel broker-dealerLPL Financial through Benchmark Wealth Management.

The move gives their clients access to an array of LPL-backed financial products and services, such as money management, retirement planning, stocks, bonds, annuities, IRAs, life insurance, long-term care, that Benchmark advisors can tap into, according top an LPL press release.

"That is what comprehensive guidance and planning is all about: offering the most appropriate and competitive investment alternatives especially designed to help our customers reach their financial goals."

Poitras, Goel and Andrew join LPL-affiliated Benchmark after very brief stints at Chase Investment Services and several years each in the private-client division of Seattle-based Washington Mutual, a savings bank that went belly up in 2008. They're based in Benchmark's Orange, Calif., office.

Boston, San Diego and Charlotte, N.C.-based LPL provides support products and services to more than 12,000 financial advisors.

In addition to Orange, Benchmark has offices in Irvine and Tustin in California. -FWR
