Ex-UBS Figure Joins NatWest's Wealth Arm As "People Director"

The new recruit will have an important role at a time when the UK lender integrates Evelyn Partners and builds out its wealth offering.
NatWest Group
– now in the
process of acquiring Evelyn Partners –
has appointed former UBS
senior figure Katarina Rosen (main picture) as its people
director, private banking and wealth management.
“Katarina brings a powerful blend of strategic HR experience,
specialising in culture, talent and leadership,” Emma Crystal,
CEO for private banking and wealth management, said in a
statement from the UK-listed bank.
Rosen began her career with Andersen Consulting and ABN Amro,
joining Credit Suisse in 2014, where she became global head of
culture and inclusion. When UBS acquired Credit Suisse in 2023,
she became co-head of talent and culture for the group.
Ben Picking, who joined as lead strategic recruiter at Coutts at
the start of February, will work alongside Rosen. Picking had
been head of recruitment for Neuberger Berman, the investment
house. He has also worked at Blackstone, Credit Suisse and
Barclays.
The next few weeks and months will be busy for NatWest as it
integrates Evelyn Partners, a business that adds to the Coutts
private banking arm. See
