Ex-LaSalle Chairman Joins Chicago Private Bank

Former LaSalle Bank chairman, president and chief executive Norman Bobins has joined the board of Chicago-based PrivateBancorp and is to chair its Chicago operating subsidiary.

Mr Bobins left LaSalle in 2007 after Bank of America bought it in October.

PrivateBancorp is the holding company for PrivateBank-Michigan and five other subsidiaries in Chicago, St Louis, Kansas City, Georgia and Wisconsin.

The bank serves wealthy clients and owners of private companies.
