Marc Reiss, the former head of sales and distribution for Citigroup Private Bank in Europe, is to head the new private banking office in London of Israeli United Mizrahi Bank. The new bank will target both Israeli and international clients. “A private banking customer operating in Israel will be able to expand and diversify his investment with products from the British and European markets. Management of the portfolio will be entrusted to the bank’s experts in London. The experts will make useful proposals to customers of the bank interested in exposure and activity in these markets,” said Eldad Fresher, chief financial officer of Mizrahi Bank, in an interview in the Israeli press. United Mizrahi Bank has an active private banking business in Switzerland and plans to open an office in New York.
