Mercantile Group has appointed former Cazenove fund manager
Robin Minter-Kemp as non-executive director, following the
group's merger with investment consultancy and solution provider
P-Solve in February.
The arrival of the Minter-Kemp adds to a number of recent hires
made by the firm, including Paul Bradshaw as group chairman and
Kevin Hayes as chief financial officer.
Minter-Kemp has more than 25 years of experience in the fund
management industry and held senior positions with Henderson
Investors and HSBC Asset Management before joining Cazenove Fund
Management in 2001.
While at Cazenove, he was instrumental in developing its
specialised investment business, building external funds under
management from £300 million to £6.5 billion ahead of the
business acquisition by Schroders in July 2013.
“Robin’s significant experience and insight into the fund
management industry will be invaluable to the Group as we
continue to develop our growth strategy across a differentiated
range of markets,” said chief executive Mike Faulkner.
