Etops Strengthens Leadership Team

The firm said that these appointments mark an important step in strengthening its leadership team while the company grows consistently and supports an expanding client base of more than 2,000 institutions across Europe.

Etops, a pan-European provider of wealth and asset management technology, has made two key additions to its executive leadership team: Patrick Kopp (pictured) as group chief services officer (CSO) and Aike Festini as group chief operating officer (COO).

Kopp steps into the role of CSO after nearly nine years within the Etops Group, where he has contributed to the development of consulting, data, and risk related service areas, the Switzerland-headquartered firm said in a statement.

Since joining Etops in 2018, he supported the group’s evolution across several business units and played a central role in aligning teams and service delivery throughout periods of growth. In his most recent position as head of data and risk services, Kopp was central to Etops’ day-to-day service operations, gaining insight into how the organisation collaborates across functions, manages data, and ensures operational coherence – experience that now forms a strong foundation for his responsibilities as CSO.

“Patrick has been an important part of Etops for many years and brings deep knowledge of our services, clients, and operational processes,” Pius Stucki, group CEO of Etops, said. “We are very excited to see him take on the role of CSO and continue shaping the development of our service organization.”

With more than 15 years of experience building, scaling, and transforming technology companies across Europe, Festini (pictured below) brings a strong blend of entrepreneurial, operational, and strategic expertise into the organisation. She is the founder of Rebels With A Cause – an organisation focusing on business transformation and innovation – and previously founded and led the lastmile logistics platform LuckaBox Logistics AG.  Her experience is complemented by an MBA from IMD, training in design thinking at Stanford University, and academic studies in journalism and communication science at the University of Vienna.

Aike Festini

“Aike brings a valuable combination of operational excellence and entrepreneurial thinking,” Stucki said. “Her arrival marks an exciting moment for Etops as we continue strengthening our operations and expanding our growing client base across Europe.”

Etops has more than 250 professionals, serving over 2,000 clients across the full spectrum of financial services, including banks, wealth and asset managers, independent advisors, and insurance firms in Germany, Switzerland, and other continental European markets.
