EFG's Head Of Global South Asia Business Is Leaving

The MD has been at EFG, the Swiss private banking group, for three years.
Manoj Ramarao, managing director and head of global South Asia at EFG Bank, is leaving the Switzerland-listed business after a stint of three years. He is based in Singapore.
Ramarao referred to his move on his Linkedin page. When asked by this news service about the matter yesterday, EFG confirmed that he is leaving.
In his Linkedin update, Ramarao said: "After three wonderful years, I am moving on from EFG Bank. It has been a tremendous experience working with some of the best minds in the industry. A massive thank you to Oliver Balmelli and Albert C for their faith and support...and to all my colleagues for helping me rebuild the GSA business."

WealthBriefingAsia Awards. I am certain EFG's GSA
business is now well on the way to achieve greater heights."
For more than 11 years Ramarao was executive director, and team
head for sub-continent and NRI Southeast Asia at Bank of
Singapore. Before this, he was an RM in the NRI space for ABN
AMRO, in Singapore, and spent a year before that at Citibank in
India.
