Eaton Vance Management International, the London-based subsidiary of US investment manager Eaton Vance, has hired Jeffrey Mueller as vice president, portfolio manager and global high yield analyst.
Mueller will be responsible for driving growth in the investment manager's global corporate credit capabilities. He was previously a high-yield portfolio manager and investment analyst at Threadneedle Asset Management, where he managed European high-yield credit portfolios, focused on the automobile, industrials and services sectors.
“Jeff’s addition to the team allows us to leverage existing investment capabilities while enhancing the depth of our research and the reach of our global presence,” said Michael Weilheimer, Eaton Vance’s director of high yield.
The firm plans on hiring further global credit analysts to report to Mueller later in the year, Weilheimer added. Mueller will join the team that covers non-US corporate credit in March.
