Dynasty Partners With Digital Investments Platform

The move is yet another example of how access to alternative investments is a theme driving change in the wealth management sector.
Allocate, a digital
investment platform giving access to venture funds and
co-investments, is partnering with Dynasty
Financial Partners, the firm that works with registered
investment advisors.
The partnership will provide Dynasty network partner RIAs with a
digital solution that will give them the ability to invest in
venture capital funds for clients, Dynasty said.
Launched in late 2021, Allocate provides qualified investors with
a streamlined way to discover, access, and manage venture capital
fund manager strategies.
The move is yet another example of how access to alternative
investments is a theme driving change in the wealth management
sector.
“Venture capital has increasingly been an appealing investment
opportunity for independent financial advisors to offer their
high net worth clients,” Ed Swenson, co-founder and chief
operating officer of Dynasty Financial Partners, said.
Allocate's platform works by automating product discovery,
know-your-client, anti-money laundering, subscription documents,
capital calls, and investment management. As the platform
aggregates investor capital into Allocate feeder vehicles,
investors can invest in venture opportunities at low minimums
with the purchasing power of institutional investors, enabling
them to build venture capital diversified portfolios, Dynasty
said.
Allocate was founded by Samir Kaji and Hana Yang in 2021. Before
launching the business, they had tenures at SVB Financial Group,
SVB Capital, Hamilton Lane, AngelList, Bowdoin Endowment,
Icapital, Fidelity, First Republic Bank, Morgan Stanley, Kauffman
Fellows, CircleUp, Gradifi, and Vistaprint.
