Dubai Firm Adds Wealth Management to Form Multi-Disciplinary Practice

Dubai-based Mondial Financial Partners International is adding wealth management, investment banking and asset management services to its core financial planning business to create what it says is a fully multi-disciplinary practice. Mondial is also adding its own firm of solicitors, to be called FP Law, to form part of its private client division to offer trust services and tax and estate planning to its 10,000 strong customer base. "This is not a move away from our independent financial advisory services, but a diversification," said Jason Blick, the firm's chief executive. "We see ourselves as a one-stop shop for both high net worth individuals and corporates." FPI, formed in 2002, has offices in nine countries and posted revenue of $12 million last year, and plans to double that to $25 million this year. The firm also plans to offer Islamic products in the near future.
