London-based financial services technology provider DST Global Solutions, has appointed Edward Dumas head of risk management in the US.

Reporting to Jill Douglas, global head of risk solutions for DST, Mr Dumas will provide subject matter expertise for risk management to the region.

“Asset managers are increasingly looking to strengthen their approach to risk management by fostering a culture more focused on risk and by implementing tools to help them more effectively manage risk within their organizations,” said Mrs Douglas.

Mr Dumas joins from Manzanita Advisors where he was president. Prior to that, he was senior vice president at State Street Corporation. 

In May, DST Global Solutions relaunched into three business divisions: Investment Management Solutions, Business Process Solutions and Customer Lifecycle Management.
