DST Global Solutions, a firm providing asset servicing, data management and distribution software to wealth managers, has launched an app for the iPad which gives access to its news, industry briefings and thought-leadership material.

The app also gives access to YouTube videos and Twitter content from the firm, it said in a statement. The app, called DST IMS, is available as a free download from the iTunes App Store.

DST Global Solutions has more than 260 clients, ranging from global third-party administrators and asset managers, to sovereign wealth funds and single-site, boutique firms.

The firm recently issued a report, taken from a survey of opinions among Australia’s financial sector, saying that they fear the industry is being crippled by the rising burden of regulations.
