Dominion Expands International Fund Offering

Guernsey-based Dominion Funds has expanded its international offering by making its Global Trends Consumer Fund available on the Generali International platform.

Investors can now access the fund through Generali International’s vision plan, choice plan and professional portfolio products, the firm said in a statement.

The fund, which launched in 2007, aims to capitalise on trends such as the growth of an affluent, brand-conscious middle class in emerging markets.

Dominion believes that its partnership with Generali will work to increase its exposure to international markets, where its global trends investment style “continues to grow in popularity.”

The Dominion Global Trends Consumer Fund has returned 39.92 per cent over three years and 17.31 per cent since its launch, while its benchmark the MSCI World Index (in sterling) has delivered 20.39 per cent and -1.02 per cent over the same time periods (source: Bloomberg 31 October 2012).

Generali International currently has more than €400 billion (around $541 billion) of assets under management, and caters to clients across Continental Europe, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East.
