Digital Digest: The Latest Tech News – True Potential

The latest technology news in the wealth management sector from around the world.

True Potential
UK wealth management firm True Potential has joined Origo’s Integration Hub, bringing automated, data-rich daily valuations from multiple providers directly into advisors' workflows. This connection reinforces True Potential's commitment to investing in technology that helps advisors operate more efficiently and deliver better client outcomes, the firm said in a statement.

Research has found that poor service delivery from platforms impacts 91 per cent of advisors every day, with 88 per cent of advisors having to apologise to at least one client on behalf of a platform in the past 12 months. Reducing the friction caused by manual data processes sits at the heart of True Potential's integration, with Origo automating a process that has historically required manual intervention across multiple provider relationships.

With over 65 connected organisations, the Origo Integration Hub is used throughout the financial services industry to connect providers, platforms and advisor technology systems. Through a single connection, True Potential can deliver automated valuation data directly into advisors' existing workflows, removing the need for multiple individual integrations and reducing administrative complexity.

Advisors whose back-office software is connected to the Origo Integration Hub will benefit from wider provider coverage, automated daily valuation updates and reduced reliance on manual valuation requests within their existing system, which will help them access more timely and complete client information.

The service is available at no additional cost for advisors and can be activated on an opt-in basis, with no new systems or processes to learn.

“Our partnership with Origo, along with existing processes, will give advisors even more time to focus on what they do best – giving brilliant advice – and is the latest in a series of investments True Potential has made in the tools that allow advisors to run better businesses, serve more clients and grow with confidence,” Gregg Lang, chief executive officer of True Potential Adviser Services, said.

The integration is the latest in a series of technology and service enhancements from True Potential that includes the launch of Indigo Smart Assistant and the Bondsmith Cash Savings service.
