The latest technology news in the wealth management sector from around the world.

GBST, Novia Global
Global wealthtech company GBST has renewed its strategic partnership with Novia Global, the platform for investment advisors.

Novia Global’s core technology will continue to be supported by the Composer wealth management platform, which is managed and hosted by GBST on the Amazon Web Services cloud infrastructure.

The agreement will help Novia to extend its footprint. The firm plans to expand in the Middle East – a strategy which runs alongside GBST’s own expansion into the region with the launch of Composer in the UAE last year.

As a result of the deal, Novia will expand the the multi-currency-enabled products administered on Composer to support individual UK savings accounts and self-invested personal pensions for non-UK residents and foreign nationals residing in the UK. The new agreement also includes dedicated resources to support the live software as well as testing, planning and implementing new releases and upgrades, GBST said in a statement.

Founded in 1983, GBST works with more than 100 financial brands across Europe, Australia, New Zealand, the US, Canada and the UAE.
