Deutsche Bank has appointed Chew Soon Gek as chief investment officer of its private wealth management unit in Asia. Ms Chew is responsible for managing client portfolios across Asia. She joins Deutsche Bank from ING Private Bank, where she was chief investment officer of ING's Asian private banking division. She has also held senior roles at DBS Asset Management and the Government of Singapore Investment Corp. Michael Leung has also left UBS in New York to join Deutsche's Singapore office as director and head of asset backed securities trading in Asia, except Japan.
