Deutsche Bank Securities Names New Rates Research Head
Deutsche Bank Securities has appointed Dominic Konstam, formerly of Credit Suisse, as a managing director and global head of rates research within its Global Markets division – a role in which he will focus on developing the bank’s fixed income research platform in the US and globally.
Mr Konstam, who has over 18 years of experience in fixed income research, was latterly global head of interest rates research at Credit Suisse, where he oversaw macro strategy, derivatives and treasury research.
In his new role Mr Konstam is specifically charged with expanding the range of products available on the platform and enhancing the level of client service. On taking up the position on 1 June this year, he is to be based in New York, reporting to Marcel Cassard, global head of macro and fixed income research.
“He [Mr Konstam] will be a major asset to our business and clients globally… Dominic brings a wealth of knowledge and important client relationships to our platform, which will enhance our research product offering and further our success in the rates market,” Anshu Jain, head of Global Markets and a member of the management board, said in a statement.
