Deutsche Bank PWM Reshuffles London Base

Deutsche Bank Private Wealth Management has reshuffled its London office and hired Chris Hocking as relationship manager and team leader, which means that John Matthews will relinquish the day-to-day running of the team and become UK head of key clients.
Hocking will report to Juliet Wedderburn, head of the bank’s private wealth management business in the English capital. He joins from Barclays Wealth, where he latterly was head of Africa (offshore) and, earlier, head of UK private bank core proposition.
The German bank said in a statement that he will focus on “further developing the team while building a portfolio of clients, with an emphasis on leveraging our lending offering and the private institutional client platform.”
In August, Deutsche Bank bolstered its wealth management operations in the UK regions with two hires. Peter Roper - latterly of RBS Private Client Group - was added to the Edinburgh office as a relationship manager and vice president, while Andrew Clarke was named director and head of professional practices in London.
