Deutsche Bank Overhauls German Wealth Division

The Frankfurt-listed group has made a number of senior changes, and merged private banking and wealth management in Germany, which had previously been separate entities.
Deutsche Bank
has made a series of senior appointments in its home market in
Germany, and restructured some of its operations in the
country.
Nasim Amini is joining the bank to run the South Germany region,
taking effect from 1 January 2026, according to a Linkedin post
from the Frankfurt-listed lender late yesterday. Amini will be
joining from HypoVereinsbank. At HypoVereinsbank, he was
head of ultra high net worth and investment advisory; prior to
this, he worked at Commerzbank for more than 22 years.
Another joiner, reports said, is Naveed Arshad, who will come
from Privatbank Hauck Aufhaeuser Lampe to oversee digital
solutions for wealth clients.
The bank is also bringing Lisa-Marie Wöhrle back to the fold, a
senior banking figure – formerly at UBS – with a wealth planning
background. She will take over the lead of the newly-formed
wealth planning team, reporting to Corrado Palmieri, head of
wealth investment advisory EMEA.
Deutsche Bank said it would also be growing its “strategic UHNW
clients” franchise under Stefanie Rühl-Hoffman.
“We are creating the foundation to further grow our market share
from our strong position as number one in German wealth
management. Our previously separated areas [of] wealth management
and private banking will now be merged and more closely
integrated,” Raffael Gasser (main picture), head of wealth
management for Germany, said in a statement.
“This creates new development perspectives for our employees. Our
clients will benefit from an enhanced scope of advisory
capabilities and product offering that we tailor even more
specifically to their respective needs – which we will deliver
1-1 or through digital channels based on our clients’
preferences,” Gasser said.
The bank said it has added five regional head positions from its
own ranks: Dr Anke Sahlen (East); Britta Camphausen (Southwest);
Christian Mangartz (West); Daniel Dalter (Northwest); and
Christian Blömer (North).
