Deloitte Boosts Enterprise Risk Offering For Investment Managers

Deloitte, the business advisory and consultancy firm, has bolstered its investment management executive committee with the addition of Jon Pumfleet.

Pumfleet will lead investment management within Deloitte’s Enterprise Risk Services division, overseeing the firm’s work with investment managers to tackle technology risks, business process and control improvements and the implications of regulatory change.

Pumfleet was latterly head of technology risk at Threadneedle Asset Management in London, a role in which he was responsible for front-, middle-, and back-office technology risk programmes across the firm.

Deloitte says its Enterprise Risk Services division is seeing increased demand from investment managers for its services. Along with it being subjected to an ongoing barrage of regulatory change, M&A activity has been really hotting up in the investment management space recently. Many firms are also making big technology investments at present as they try to both up service levels and keep costs down.
