Deloitte, the international professional services firm, said it has appointed Paula Higgleton as its new head of UK private client services practice. She has worked at the firm for seven years.

Ms Higgleton, who was recently named one of the Top 100 private client advisors by Citywealth, takes over from Tony Cohen who has taken up the position of head of entrepreneurial business at Deloitte.

In addition to Ms Higgleton, her fellow private client services tax partners Tony Cohen, Charles Bradbrook and Lynne Rennie were also named on the Citywealth “Leaders List”, and Tony Cohen was presented with the award for Accountant of the Year.

Ms Higgleton joined Deloitte in 2001 and has over 20 years experience specialising in advising individuals and partners in professional firms.
