Deals Of The Day: The Latest In Wealth Management M&A – Titan Wealth, Finance Shop, FS Wealth Management

The latest mergers, acquisitions and other corporate actions in the wealth management sector.

Titan Wealth
Titan Wealth, which offers custody, platform, discretionary fund management and financial planning, is acquiring Finance Shop Limited and FS Wealth Management Limited, East Anglian based advisory and discretionary portfolio management (DPM) firms. The acquisition, subject to regulatory approval, will bring Titan Wealth’s total assets under management and advice to £37 billion ($49.16 billion), the firm said in a statement.

Finance Shop, which has £750 million assets under advice, offers face-to-face independent advisory services on retirement, investment, mortgage, tax-planning and protection for personal and corporate clients across the UK.

FS Wealth Management, which has about £340 million assets under discretionary management (AuDM), offers DPM, creating tailored investment portfolios for clients. With a team of 14 advisors and a strong investment management pedigree, the firm has a wealth of industry experience; notably it has brought in a team of younger advisors, four of whom are female.

The deal will bolster Titan Wealth’s East Anglia presence and will enable Finance Shop to offer a greater range of services to its clients. It follows an acquisition of local firm Loveday and Partners in 2024, complementing Titan Wealth’s Norwich-based offering.

“We are pleased to welcome Finance Shop and FS Wealth. The firms have built a strong presence in East Anglia, a region of great importance to us,” Andrew Fearon, joint group CEO and head of M&A at Titan Wealth, said. “The acquisition allows us to continue building our geographical footprint in the East of England and further enhances our vertically integrated client offering.”

“We are delighted to be joining the Titan Wealth Group,” Nick Buchan, director of Finance Shop, added. “The team’s support will enable us to offer better outcomes for our clients who are at the heart of our business. Titan Wealth’s scale will help to support our advisory and discretionary offerings.”
