Deals Of The Day: The Latest In Wealth Management M&A – Radiant Financial Group

Radiant
Financial Group, the consolidator of UK independent financial
advisor firms, has hit £1.3 billion ($1.47 billion) in assets
under advisement (AuA) after acquiring three more IFAs.
The group has acquired Barnstaple-based Irvine Financial
Services, which has £136 million in AuA, as well as eight members
of staff, including three advisors. It has also acquired
Oldham-based Landmark Financial Planning, which has £98 million
in AuA and six staff members, including three advisors. In
addition, Radiant has acquired Andrew Gibbs IFA, based in
Henley-on-Thames, adding £91 million in AuA.
The latest deals take Radiant’s staff numbers to 130.
Early this month Radiant announced that it had bought Perth-based
IFA, GS Financial Services and Aberdeen-based AMLP Financial
Planning, which between them have £313 million in AuA.
Radiant Financial Group, a consolidator of like-minded IFA
businesses, was founded in 2020. The firm is led by chief
executive Simon Cogman-Hellier, who has more than 40 years’
experience in financial services.
