Jason Kow, CEO of London-headquartered private investment firm Queensgate Investments, this week completed the acquisition of 100 per cent of Queensgate Investments from global wealth and investment partner AlTi TiedermannAlTi Tiedermann, which oversees about $77 billion in assets. The latter firm trades under the moniker of AITi Global.
The transaction marks the next chapter in the evolution of Queensgate as an investment and advisory platform focused on real estate, hospitality, and special situations across Europe, the US, and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Queensgate said in a statement.
In parallel with the AITi Tiedemann deal, Kow has established Halston Street, his Dubai-headquartered family office, regulated by the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA), to oversee principal investments and strategic initiatives globally.
In other deals, in 2025 Queensgate completed the sale of Generator's European operations to Brookfield Asset Management for about €800 million ($916 million). The portfolio comprised 15 properties representing 2,749 keys and about 9,000 beds across gateway cities including Amsterdam, Berlin, Copenhagen, Dublin, Hamburg, London, Madrid, Paris, and Rome. In 2026, the firm wrapped up a restructuring of its US hospitality portfolio.
Before founding Queensgate, which now advises €3 billion ($3.4 billion) of cash and assets, Kow was head of special situations investments at London & Regional, a European real estate company, head and partner at SPQR Capital, and was previously at Credit Suisse Private Equity.
