The latest mergers, acquisitions and other corporate actions in the wealth management sector.
Hawksford
Corporate, private client, and fund services provider Hawksford has added to its
M&A team, suggesting that the global firm has more targets in
its sights.
Maciek Szymanski, who is based in London, has joined as group
head of M&A, Lin Zichao has joined as group associate
director M&A in Singapore, and Krishnee Calleemallay has been
appointed group M&A manager, operating from
Mauritius.
Szymanski has around 25 years’ experience in global financial and
corporate services. Prior to Hawksford, he worked at Scutum
Group, the fire safety appliances firm, where he evaluated and
executed acquisitions in Europe and the US.
Zichao has expertise in corporate strategy development with more
than 15 years’ experience in M&A. A member of the Institute
of Singapore Chartered Accountants, Zichao previously worked at
global automated solutions business Dematic.
Calleemallay, who has more than seven years’ experience in
financial services, was previously at Safyr Capital where
she led the corporate finance division and led several capital
raising activities across a range of sectors.
In recent deals, Hawksford has bought ACT Management Services in
the Netherlands, Pearse Trust in Ireland, and Griffon Solutions
in Mauritius over the past year. The firm has offices in Hong
Kong, Singapore, mainland China, Jersey, London, Amsterdam,
Dublin, Belfast, Vancouver and Milan.
Evelyn Partners, Dart
Evelyn
Partners has completed its purchase of Dart Capital, a
boutique wealth manager based in the City of London with £750
million (as of 30 August) assets under management and a team of
19 people. The acquisition for an undisclosed sum has been given
the blessing of the relevant regulators.
Dart Capital was incorporated in 1987 and provides personalised
advice and discretionary investment management services for
clients including the partners of leading accountancy and law
firms, senior executives, business owners and retirees.
