Gresham House, SUSI Partners
Gresham House,
a specialist alternative asset manager with £8.7 billion ($11.74
billion) in AuM, has agreed to buy all of SUSI Partners, a
Switzerland-headquartered specialist investment manager focused
on energy transition infrastructure.
The deal combines SUSI Partners’ mid-market energy transition
investment capabilities across equity and credit with Gresham
House’s UK leadership in battery energy storage, Gresham Partners
said in a statement late last week.
Gresham House said the transaction also widens its access to
continental European and Southeast Asian markets. The combined
energy transition business will have £2.7 billion in AuM because
of the deal. In total, Gresham’s AuM will rise to £10.2
billion.
The transaction remains subject to customary closing conditions
including regulatory approvals. Financial terms have not been
disclosed.
