DBS of Singapore has hired the former head of Private Banking at CIMB in Malaysia, Tai Tek Lin, according to sources close to the bank. Mr Lin joined last month as a senior vice president heading up the bank’s Malaysian clients reporting to Koong Kin Mun who runs DBS Private Baking operations in South East Asia. Previously based in Kuala Lumpur, Mr Lin will now operate from DBS in Singapore.
