Swiss family office Generation Three Family Partners has hired Princess Alia Al-Senussi, the daughter of the exiled royal family of Libya, to head business development and art advisory. 

Al-Senussi joins the Mayfair offices of the Zug-headquartered multi-family office, where she will use her "excellent international contacts" to lure new business for the firm. 

Twenty-eight year old Al-Senussi is the eldest daughter of Prince Idris Al-Senussi and Cindy Heles. Her paternal grandfather, Prince Abdallah Abed, was nicknamed the “Black Prince” after being forced to flee Libya in 1969 upon the coup d’etat by Colonel Muammar Gaddafi. Prince Abdallah Abed was appointed by the King of Libya to lead the counter-coup attempts upon the monarchy’s exile. 

Alia was born in Washington DC, raised in Cairo and then California and schooled at Aiglon College in Switzerland. She serves on the board of patrons of Art Dubai, the Middle East & North Africa Acquisitions Committee of the Tate Gallery, the Executive Patrons Committee of the Tate and the Future Contemporaries Committee of the Serpentine Gallery, said the firm in a statement.
