Crossbridge Launches Advisory Board, Names First Four Members
London-based Crossbridge Capital, a specialist investment solutions firm for HNW entrepreneurs and their families that opened in 2008, has launched an advisory board, with Marwan Alireza, Reem Al-Bahar, Pooja Budhrani and Maher Mikati as its founding members. Crossbridge shareholders include Swiss wealth management major Julius Baer.
Crossbridge says it intends to continue growing through a combination of acquisitions and organically in both existing and new markets and services. It hopes an advisory board will help the company realise its ambition to becoming the “go to” specialist firm for investment solutions among business owners and wealth creators.
Alireza has worked as a merchant banker in New York, primarily raising capital for early stage life science companies and advising on cross-border joint ventures and alliances; before that, he worked for Nomura Securities in the mid 90s in Tokyo, Hong Kong and London.
Al-Bahar has spent the last 14 years in private banking, foreign exchange and venture capital. She was at Credit Suisse as a relationship manager in private client services for six years and has also spent time with UBS as an external asset manager.
Budhrani has more than 10 years of diverse experience in asset management, a long/short equity hedge fund and private equity in London, New York and Singapore.
Mikati is currently an executive director of M1 Group, a family office based in Beirut and is also a board member of Baboo, a Geneva-based value airline, Royal Jordanian, the national airline of Jordan, Façonnable, Gama Aviation and GrowthGate.
