Credit Suisse has unveiled the first advertisements in its $100 million campaign to promote the bank as a unified brand. The campaign will be launched in both print media and TV in the major financial centres around the world over the next few months as the bank communicates its unified new brand to a wider audience. Central to the new campaign is what Credit Suisse sees as one of its main strengths: its ability to innovate for its clients. An explanation of the current strategy is provided on the bank’s website, which said: “The notion that Credit Suisse seeks new opportunities for clients, that our combined years of experience and our ability to innovate mean that we are always ‘thinking new perspectives’ – which serves as the campaign tagline.” As part of its current re-branding efforts, Credit Suisse also plans to illuminate its major offices around the world – New York, London, Zurich, Singapore and Hong Kong – from January 16 to 23. Credit Suisse appointed global advertising giant McCann Erickson to the $100 million global advertising task in September last year.
