Credit Suisse has appointed Puneet Matta as head of Wealth Management in India effective 15 December 2007. With an 18-year career in India's banking industry, Puneet brings to Credit Suisse a wealth of knowledge and experience. He will focus on leveraging our integrated banking platform, working closely with our established Investment Banking business in India to deliver the benefits of the entire bank to our UHNWI and HNWI clients." It has filed an application for a portfolio management licence to provide high net worth individuals and institutional clients with a range of investment products and services in response to strong demand for such products in India. The Swiss bank has also built dedicated teams across the major centers in Dubai, London, Singapore and Zurich, catering for the needs of non-resident Indian clients.
