Credit Suisse said it plans to double the number of relationship managers in its US operations over the next few years. A spokesman for the bank told WealthBriefing that there are currently 284 relationship managers in the US, which has grown by 20 per cent during the last 12 months. The Swiss bank recently said it was opening a number of new offices in the US, including offices in White Plains, New York; Fairfield, Connecticut; and Orange County, California. Credit Suisse also announced the hire of Anthony DeChellis to run the bank’s US private banking business in May. The bank managed to poach Mr DeChellis from UBS, which was seen as a major coup by Credit Suisse.
