Credit Suisse, which rolled out its web-based Securities Network trading network in the Asia Pacific and emerging markets last year, is now rolling the product out globally. The platform, which gives users access to structured products, real-time tradable prices and secondary trading, lists more than 2,000 tradable securities. It allows users to trade in a broad range of structured products including equities, fixed income, and foreign exchange instruments, deposits, and warrants. Both real-time and historical pricing information as well as other aggregate data is available across all asset classes and additional securities such as real estate derivatives are slated to be added to the platform later in 2007. Select clients in the US have also been using the platform as a trial.
