Credit Suisse Appoints New Head of Geneva Region
Credit Suisse has named Manuel Jetzer as head of its Geneva region from 1 January 2009. He takes over from the retiring Bernhard Lippuner.
While keeping his role as head of domestic private banking for that region and for the Nyon district, Mr Jetzer will have the job of building the global bank’s business in the region. Credit Suisse said another target is to maintaini the Geneva region at the heart of the bank’s business.
Before joining Credit Suisse in 1992, Mr Jetzer worked at accountancy firm KPMG, and prior to that for a French bank as a credit specialist.
From 1997 until 2006, was responsible for credit management and recovery at Credit Suisse. In June 2006, he was named head of private banking onshore for Geneva.
