Credit Suisse's Private Bank Creates Investment Chief Role

Credit Suisse said today it has appointed Stefan Keitel as chief investment officer of its private banking business and chairman of the Credit Suisse investment committee.
The role of CIO is a new one for the private bank, a spokesperson told WealthBriefing.
Mr Keitel will report to Arthur Vayloyan, who is head of private banking investment services and products and Daniel Brupbacher, head of asset management, multi asset class solutions. He will also work with Giles Keating, the head of global research for Credit Suisse’s private banking and asset management businesses.
After joining Credit Suisse in 2001, Mr Keitel was appointed CIO for Credit Suisse’s businesses in Germany in 2004 and in 2008, made CIO Central Europe over all divisions. From 2006 to 2009 Mr Keitel was chief executive of Credit Suisse Asset Management Kapitalanlagegesellschaft and head of MACS Germany (multi asset class solutions).
