Crédit Agricole Asset Management Opens for Business in Germany

Crédit Agricole Asset Management Deutschland will become the focal point of renewed development in Germany and Austria, where CAAM has been active for several years. CAAM is looking to reinforce its presence among institutional investors and external distributors, in particular through its range of around 70 investment funds, which CAAM will regularly increase, registered in these two countries. The company claims to be one of the largest fixed income managers in Europe, with assets under management of over €310 billion, and says that it also intends to promote its equity expertise, in particular in emerging markets where the group says it has demonstrated consistent performance over the medium and long term. CAAM has €565.7 billion under management.
