CPA turns to financial planner to boost services

Firm taps Lincoln Financial affiliate to fill out financial planning roster. Accountancy and consulting firm Leone McDonnell & Roberts (LMR) says a new partnership with Integrated Financial Partners help it improve client services by providing the ability to offer additional retirement, estate and business-owner planning, as well as related insurance and investment products.

Before the tie-up, Wolfeboro, N.H.-based LMR's pension-planning group offered only fee-only retirement planning, administration and consulting. The link with Integrated Financial means that LMR can provide a closer approximation to full-service financial planning.

LMR's new service suite includes retirement accounts, asset allocation, education funding, tax saving strategies, wealth management and transfer for individual clients; and exit strategies, continuation plans and executive benefits for business owners.

Glastonbury, Conn.-based Integrated Financial is affiliated with Lincoln Financial Advisors. It has offices in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island and Virginia.

LMR caters to approximately 1,000 business accounts and 2,000 individual clients. It has offices five offices in New Hampshire. -FWR
