CP Eaton Opens RMB Access To Partners

CP Eaton Partners has launched a new platform that will give its current and future partners access to local currency sources within China.

In a statement, the firm said it is optimistic over the potential of RMB funds given the rapid growth of China's capital markets and the expected strengthening of the local currency against the US dollar. The endeavour, which will be based out of its Shanghai office, will be led by newly hired vice president Eric Gu.

"The Chinese investment market is undergoing a rapid transformation and institutionalisation process. This represents an incredible opportunity to bring investors and investments together," said Gu.

CP Eaton, a placement agent, is based in the US and specialises in raising institutional capital.
