The new company in Jersey will be led by managing director Simon Voisin (pictured) a trust professional with more than 30 years of experience in offshore fiduciary management roles.
“The new office will allow us to offer bespoke solutions tailored to the needs of clients in this dynamic market, underpinned by Coriats’ reputation for integrity, connectivity and delivery of client service excellence,” Voisin said.
Owned by managing director Voisin and the owners of Coriats Trust Company, founded in 1978, the launch of the Jersey office will cement its commitment to serving clients in premier financial centres around the world; it marks a significant milestone in Coriats’ growth to meet the needs of internationally mobile clients, the firm said.
“Our launch in Jersey, (which is very arguably the best
trust jurisdiction in the world) will be marked by our dedication
to delivering an exceptional client experience, whilst
creating new opportunities for collaboration within the
local professional community,” David Stewart, director, said.
“With Simon at the helm, we are ideally positioned
to support internationally diverse clients in navigating the
complexities of wealth and succession planning.”
The organisation offers trustee and corporate management
services.
In 2022 Jersey Finance, the organisation pulling together private sector and public sector bodies to make the island’s case around the world, set out a detailed report explaining the role such financial centres play in the global economy, countering claims that they only exist to mitigate tax.
