Brewer Investment Group, a Chicago-based independent wealth management firm, has shored up its ultra-high net worth business by adding Core Financial Advisory, LLC, a Reston, Va.-based firm that services family office clients with over $25 million in net worth.

Brewer said Core Financial “joined the firm to enhance existing business solutions for complex estate and tax issues, multi-generational planning and wealth transfer".

 “The full range of Brewer’s traditional and alternative investments, insurance products, access to estate planning expertise and other sophisticated financial services creates a strong synergy and an attractive value proposition for Core’s clientele,” said Steve Brewer, founder and chief executive of Brewer.

Core Financial’s team includes David Bekenstein, Todd Feldman, and Stuart Miller.
