Concierge Firm's Property Arm Moves Into Barbados

Quintessentially Estates, the property-search arm of the concierge firm Quintessentially, said it has opened an office in Barbados to take advantage of the Caribbean’s range of high-end properties.

Led by office manager James Burdess, Quintessentially Estates is setting up an office in the island for the first time.

“ Barbados is a premier, upmarket destination and it is a natural progression for Quintessentially Estates to open an office there,” a spokeswoman told WealthBriefing.

“With many new developments including golf, spa, polo resorts and marinas etc it remains very popular amongst celebrities and ultra high net worth individuals.  The island very much attracts affluent travellers and buyers,” she added.

Concierge firms such as Quintessentially, which has more than 40 offices worldwide, face the threat that as economic conditions worsen, there could be less demand for some of its services.
